The primary objective was to engineer a fully functional prototype of the Robosan device (RSP-1), ensuring robust design, reliable software architecture, and comprehensive safety certification. Thanks to the collaborative effort of multiple partners, the project successfully achieved:

Development of a robust software architecture for back-end, front-end, and database management.
A complete mechanical and mechatronic model with detailed CAD outputs and bills of materials.

At ROBOSAN we provide a robotic platform for hospitals and healthcare facilities to simplify and automate the preparation processes of biological samples directly at Points of Care (sampling points), with the aim of reducing costs related to preparation errors and processing times.
